New York, NY Stake Street Fair

The New York, NY Stake puts on a street fair on the Upper East Side every year to raise money for youth camps. Isn't our stake center incredible?! Takes my breath away. I'm absolutely in love with it.

They closed the whole street for the event. Scott deemed himself the treasurer at the burger station. "I just like numbers," he tells me. The young men and young women from each ward were in charge of a booth where people could spend their tickets. Let's just say, they got creative.
^^^The Harlem Ward Nail Salon^^^

^^^The Morningside Heights Ward Creperie^^^
^^^And my favorite -- Shoot The Sasquatch --- brought to you by the Inwood Ward.^^^

Check those tickets, Jeremy Wilson.
I worked the cookie decorating booth for an hour or so. It was so much fun to catch up with friends in our stake that we don't get to see too often. But my favorite part was meeting strangers that just happened to be walking down the street and wanted to check it out. We almost made it to closing before it started pouring.
We headed home after stopping to get groceries for Sunday dinner. Scott Maddux was even there to help me carry all the bags home. It's the little things. A successful Saturday to say the least.
