Sunday BBQ Picnic

We lived for our rooftop grill during the summer. It was such a luxury! Our lease was up at the end of August so we made a point to use it as much as possible, usually hosting dinner get-togethers on Sundays. Since we were moving uptown we would be in a different ward, so we decided to plan one last shebang close to our first home. We feel beyond blessed to live near so many wonderful families and couples who are in the same stage of life as us. We barbecued and met everyone at Rockefeller Park to eat, chat, and watch the sunset. Everyone brought yummy dishes and we indulged.

This sweet sunset topped off the entire evening. We stayed past dark chatting with our fun friends. As we cleaned up and walked home, my heart couldn't help but be full. It was one of those moments for me where I stopped to think how important it is to surround yourself with good people who make you want to be better. We love our New York family. And we miss our barbecue.
