U.S. Open

Scott got off early one evening so we decided to go to the U.S. Open at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens. I am no tennis pro but the Maddux family is pretty into it. We've both been to Wimbledon - Scott while he was serving his mission and I went while on my study abroad. While Wimbledon is played on grass, the U.S. Open is played on a hard court.

We watched the Spaniard Rafael Nadal take one Dutra da Silva of Brazil. For the love, that Nadal is fun to watch. It was neat to see the match under the lights as well. I really hope we can make this a summer tradition, it was such a good time. Now, my in-laws say it's high time I work on my backhand.
