Central Park in the Fall

One of the biggest perks of our big move is being closer to Central Park. It was an absolute dream this past fall. The changing colors and cooler temps were so welcomed. They took our minds off of the rolling hills on our runs. These pictures were taken on multiple outings to the park and I knew I just had to document them - in case we have a short-lived falls in the future.

Scott at the Pond on a Sunday walk.

"Ding, Dang, Dong, The Plaza Hotel." (Quick, name that movie?)

Conservatory Pond. You can rent those motorized boats - on my summer bucket list.

I had to stop and stare at this beauty. Probably the brightest orange I saw all fall.

I loved hearing the "crunch" of leaves under my feet.

Seeing the Reservoir at dusk became a favorite of mine. Those skyline views were just too much.

I was walking with a friend in The Mall when we heard a saxophone playing. It was straight out of a Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan movie. We just listened for a few minutes, taking it all in. We talked with this man and learned his name his Art and he plays in the park about three days a week. I've had my eye out for him ever since. You could sense his passion for the music he played. It's people like him that make this city so unique and special. It certainly was a New York moment for me.

Still dreaming to have brunch at the Boathouse! Maybe next fall...
