Fall Visitors

Scott's brother, Austin, came to the city for some work meetings and it was such a treat to see him and catch up. One night we hit up his favorite spots, Empanada Mama and Magnolia Bakery. We even took a trip down memory lane and walked past the first apartment he and Kim lived in on the Upper West Side. Memories!

My second parents, Dan the Man and Cherie Baby, made a stop in the city during their big trip to the Northeast. Luckily, I got to spend the day with them. They are such good people. We were missing Kate big time.

We lunched at Eataly and then headed to Chinatown where, naturally, we went through some sketch shops on the hunt to find Cherie the perfect purses. Then, we hit up Levain Bakery so they could experience those sinful cookies. Next, we hopped on over to the park to see the leaves changing colors. The brightest yellows, oranges, and reds stopped me in my tracks. I'm so happy these two retirees made a stop in our neck of the woods while they travel the world.
